Music fans take note – today is ‘Get Out Your Guitar Day’. DXB is blessed with some very special six strings, signed by legendary names. You can admire all these guitars on the walls at Hard Rock Cafe DXB, near Gate B25 in Terminal 3.
Eric Clapton – Fender Stratocaster
Undoubtedly one of the most influential guitarists in rock history, Eric Clapton’s sleek Fender Stratocaster is still looking wonderful tonight.
The Allman Brothers – Epiphone
The Allman Brothers is another name etched in rock folklore, and the entire group signed this custom Epiphone guitar when The Allman Brothers Ban appeared at Hard Rock’s Ambassadors of Rock concert in 2009.
INXS – Squier Stratocaster
This Squier Stratocaster was signed by the members of the Australian band INXS, which topped worldwide charts throughout the 80s and early 90s.
Sugar Ray – Ibanez
A bling-stringed beauty – this dime-encrusted Ibanez was used by guitarist Rodney Sheppard on stage with Californian pop rockers Sugar Ray.
Maroon 5 – Yamaha
This Yamaha was the very first guitar owned by Maroon 5’s Jesse Carmichael. It was his main guitar when the funktastic band started, setting the stage for their eventual superstardom.
