Something exciting is happening at Dubai International. The world’s busiest international airport recently revealed its new DXB brand identity at a spectacular event attended by Dubai royalty.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Airports, joined industry heads as the vision was unveiled.
The DXB brand launch comes at a time when the airport customer experience has been transformed to engage further with 90 million yearly passengers. From even more improved smart gates and family attractions, to live music and art, to a state-of-the-art mobile app and selfie spots, the airport has become a destination in itself. Find out why in this video.
HH Sheikh Ahmed said: “Aviation, tourism and travel have been fundamental in Dubai’s growth story and we believe this investment will yield further dividends by encouraging repeat traffic and enticing connecting passengers to visit Dubai.”
Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, added: “The new brand represents the ways in which we connect the world, not only by physically facilitating access to over 220 destinations around the world, but by
transporting our customers through their experience of different cultures, food, music and art. This is what DXB, Dubai and the UAE are all about.”
In true Dubai fashion, the launch event featured an audacious live stunt, with an X Dubai parachutist landing in front of the Dubai royal family. The live stunt followed the screening of X Dubai’s adrenaline-fuelled video set in Dubai and DXB. Watch it below and discover why DXB is the airport with the X-Factor.
