Ladies passing through Dubai International can now get henna tattoos – a temporary and traditional form of body art – thanks to the launch of a new service at XpresSpa in Terminal 3.
Available in beautiful Indian and Arabic designs, the service takes between 10 and 20 minutes depending on the size of the tattoo.
Henna is a temporary dye which comes from a humble plant and takes a few days to fade away naturally. It’s been used for centuries in Middle Eastern and Asian cultures, particularly for religious festivals and weddings.
XpresSpa’s expert henna artists use a maroon coloured dye, and no prior booking is required.
The convenient service is perfect if you’re flying out for special event, or would like to get hands-on with an ancient Middle Eastern tradition.
XpresSpa is located near Gate B21 in Dubai International, Terminal 3. To find out more, read our feature on their soothing massage treatments, visit xpresspa.com, or call the shop on 971 (0)4 343 3011.
